What are Certified / Sworn Translations? |
Certified or Sworn Translations are carried out by a Certified Translator authorised by the Spanish Foreign Ministry (Ministerio Español de Asuntos Exteriores).
The Certified Translator acts as a Notary, swearing a public oath to the veracity of the translated document. All Certified Translations are delivered with the seal of the Certified Translator.

Why would you need a Certified / Sworn translation? |
Public Administrations, Courts and Universities usually require certified translations of any official document, e.g. affidavits, marriage certificates, legal rulings, official diplomas or titles.

Languages and Prices |
IBIDEM provides Certified / Sworn translations in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and other languages.
The price of a Certified / Sworn translation depends on factors such as the type of document, the language, the length of the text, etc.
You should allow about 60¬ per page or about 20 eur. for 100 words, approximately.

Time and method of delivery |
The minimum delivery time for Certified / Sworn translations is 1 week (5 working days), and in these cases, we do not have an urgency option.
Certified / Sworn translations are presented as hard copies bearing the translator's official seal, and are sent via courier (paid on delivery).
